St Elmo window display. This is possibly the liveliest "ghost town" I've been to, with lots of buildings being renovated.
The hike to Browns Creek didn't take us all that long, so we decided to drive to the ghost town of St Elmo for the afternoon.This was the American House hotel; it has been partluy renovated and has displays with information about the town inside.
We made our way back, and were thankful for the bridges at a couple of the stream crossings.
