On our way to Simon Canyon, we took a short cut through Gobernador Wash. It was very scenic, with lots of blooming Rabbitbrush and interesting rock formations. It was also a good place to have 4WD for some of the muddy stream crossings!
Sue is taking a photo of the ruts on the road to Francis Pueblito. It might be too much fun to drive it when wet.
