Escalante Backpack, Oct 2017

Sue and I joined 3 friends from Pagosa Springs for a 5 day backpack in the middle section of the Escalante River. We went in at Harris Wash and then went downstream along the Escalante, visiting Choprock, Neon and Ringtail Canyons, and exiting at Fence Canyon. This was the reverse direction of part of a trip we did in the area in 2012. Fun trip, despite a couple of chilly mornings.
