Quartz Ridge Hike, June 2018
Mid June. That's when Dave, Doug & Miyuki, and I hiked to Quartz Ridge. In a normal year the trail would be blocked by snow until early July. But this year hasn't been anything like normal. Where we might have found snow drifts, alpine flowers were already spectacular. Another beautiful day in the mountains with good friends as we hike through 12000 ft Quartz Window .
