Moab Winter Photo Trip
In mid-February of 2020, I took a group of 14 members of the Pagosa Springs Photography Club to Moab for a few days of photography around Moab (mostly in Arches National Park). At this time of year, things aren't too crowded, there is snow on the La Sals, in the background of many photos, and nice low angle light. On the flip side, mornings are chilly, often in the low to mid 20's. Still, lots of great photography and comaradarie. Each day we did a morning photo session, then split up until late afternoon for another photography outing. In between, some of us retreated to town for brunch and window shopping, others did more touring on their own. Most of us gathered for dinner after our sunset photo shoots. Fun trip, but I was exhuasted by the end of the week!
