Rock Lake Hike

In early July, Sue and I led an Outdoor Club hike to Rock Lake, along the Continental Divide near Wolf Creek Pass. This is a hike where you start high, over 11,700 ft, and remain above 11,000 ft for the entire trip. Rock Lake is a little jewel, making for a great place to have lunch before turning back.

One last rest stop before finishing the hike. Did I mention that most of the uphill comes at the end of this 8.6 mile hike? The trailhead is adjacent to the radio towers in the distance.
