Lost Pines Trail, Nov 25, 2012

Sue and I took Millie to Bastrop State Park for a Sunday after Thanksgiving hike. It was a pretty morning, with temperatures in the 50s and low 60s. We hiked the Lost Pines Trail (4.7 mi), the first time we’ve done this hike since the Bastrop Complex fire devastated 95% of the park a little over a year ago. While no longer looking like a total wasteland, it’s amazing the number of aggressive/invasive species that have grown up in just a year.
