A winter walk via snow shoe at the Chimney Rock National Monument (nice to use the new name!). Chimney Rock is the most northerly of the Chacoan outliers built by the Ancestral Puebloans (AKA Anaszi).

About half way up, there is a good view of the Chimney Rock ridge. The left most peak is topped by the Puebloan Great House; in the middle is Companion Rock, and Chimney Rock itself is on the right.
