A winter walk via snow shoe at the Chimney Rock National Monument (nice to use the new name!). Chimney Rock is the most northerly of the Chacoan outliers built by the Ancestral Puebloans (AKA Anaszi).

We decide not to go up the narrow ridge (on the left in this photo) to the Great House, as the snow conditions looked quite icy and slippery.
