John Muir Trail, Days 5-8, August 2013
This is the 2nd half of our 2013 backpack on the John Muir Trail in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California; beginning at Tyndall Frog Pond and ending at Whitney Portal. This is an area of stunning alpine scenery. Although Sue and I did not feel up to hiking to the top of Mt. Whitney, it was still a great trip!
