Stillwater Canyon of the Green River
Part 2 of our 10 day float trip on the Green River through Canyonlands in Utah, this album covers days 5-10. We continued to have issues with the wind, a couple of days near the end of the trip were especially difficult. But mornings and evenings were usually calm, with magical lighting on the river. The scenery was great and we had a couple of excellent, typical canyon country, day hikes.

The float from Water Canyon to our last camp just below the confluence of the Green River with the Colorado was short, but very rough, with high winds and white caps. We pulled out on a beach to wait for the wind to die down, but ended up spending the night here.
