Silverton Day Hikes 2015

The Silverton, CO area has some of the finest Alpine day hiking you can find. The mountains are stunning, the wildflowers are plentiful. And thanks to the (too) many old mining roads, one can frequently drive (by 4WD) to trailheads at or above timber line, and easily hike to 12-13,000 ft. So almost every July we join a group of friends for some awesome hiking.This year Sue and I only were abel to squeeze in 3 hikes, but they were good ones!
