A fine bridge to cross Largo Wash. When we were here before, the wash was nearly dry and could be driven across. But this time it was still running from the prior week's heavy rain and too dangerous to drive through.

At this spot, the road crossed a ravine filled with deep mud, but this old trestle provided a dry crossing

Next up iwas the old Margarita Martinez homestead. The structure made use of a boulder at one end, and was built between 1904-1922.

The Martinez homestead has been stabilized to prevent the walls from falling down.
