Scotland Hiking I, Inverness and the Cairngorms

For our first international trip after COVID, Sue and I went to Scotland. We flew into Inverness, and spent a day there. We then joined our hiking group and traveled to Aviemore, which is the gateway to the Cairngorm National Park. We stayed there three nights for hiking in the Cairngorms. Althought the hiking was great, one theme of the trip was cool, cloudy and windy weather most days. For part 2, we traveled to the Hebredie

This was our fist international trip following 2+ years of COVID. We 1uickly learned that air travel is still in a state of disarray, with flights canceled or delayed. We had a nice long wait at DFW to board our British Airways light to London, where we had another delay before a late flight to Inverness.
